I love to write. Ever since I was five years old and wrote my first story (about a talking shopping trolley called Harry, in case you were wondering), all I wanted to do was write. I love language and words. They can bring laughter and tears, reveal truth, move hearts, inspire courage, and connect people in a way nothing else can. Can’t we all name a book or a script or a speech that made an impact on who we are today? Sometimes, words are all you need to tell a story that will change the world. I’m also passionate about editing. I love the opportunity to connect with other writers and help them to bring the best out of their work. Restructuring a sentence to make it speak personally and meaningfully to its audience is thrilling. And that’s because I believe writing matters—words matter. Whether you’re writing personally or for business, the way you communicate says something about who you are and what’s important to you. For me, I hope my writing says that I love words, stories, and people. My goal is to use my writing and editing skills to connect people with issues that matter and help other writers flourish. I’m excited that all these opportunities give me a chance to learn and grow too. Ps.
