About Andrew Bauer

During his time at Indiana University, Andrew performed on six team projects of which he lead three. These projects included an executive summary and stock analysis of Republic Airways during bankruptcy, a formal case study over the outbreak and recovery of an Ecoli outbreak in the fast casual food industry, and a semester-long business simulation. Andrew also used his elective courses to study real estate finance and law. As a member of Delta Sigma Pi (co-ed professional fraternity), Andrew served on the executive board as the Vice President of Professional Activities for one year. Responsibilities included planning and management of professional events for the fraternity and communication with local businesses in order to set those events in motion. Work experience includes Intertek Alchemy in Austin, Texas, where he worked directly with the HR and facilities manager to support employee hires, supply management, building safety, and company event planning. Subordinate work included increasing collection production for the accounts receivable team and maintaining employee records and organization charts. Daily operations required coordination with both US offices, as well as two Canadian based locations. Andrew also has three years of experience with SCI-Dignity Memorial as a cemetery operations specialist. Duties included client relations, product knowledge, grave layout and opening, burial services, marker installation, and general safety and appearance upkeep of the cemeteries.
