I am a professional, dynamic and focused leader who has managerial experience within Acute Hospitals and the Ambulance Service. I am able to adapt well and respond to situations, learning quickly whilst reflecting and developing. I aspire to achieve excellence and can communicate in all forums, building rapport and good relationships. I am approachable and able to perform well but can work with autonomy using initiative with little supervision; and understand the importance of respecting and supporting each other to move forward together. I am passionate about service improvement to enhance experience and create better safe services and appreciate the importance of learning from events. I have working experience of producing written reports and correspondence and conducting multidisciplinary meetings. I am an excellent problem solver with the ability to demonstrate understanding and empathy. I can project manage to deliver tasks along with performance targets and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met. I have experience of operational management and service improvement, leading by example from the front. I am IT literate and have experience of various systems including in-house databases. Change and challenge motivates me and I am always willing to undertake further training to support my development. I have strong administrative skills and have successfully obtained a Business Management Qualification as well as a Diploma in Ambulance Service Dispatch. In addition I have attended Leadership Courses to further enhance my skills. I have a good understanding of performance targets along with compliance and governance and work hard to improve services and experience for patients and my team. I am a person who constantly seeks solutions and sets high expectations to ensure high standards are met.
