About Andrew Berlin

As a lifelong student-athlete-musician, I understand that ability to successfully succeed in academics, athletics and music demands a high-level of diligence, coachability, sacrifice, and humility. Music in particular builds humility and perseverance since learning a particular drum or guitar solo measure by measure and note by note until it is perfect can take hours, days, or even weeks. Beloit College, a small liberal arts schools in Southern Wisconsin, was the ideal location for me to think and learn critically, and to develop strong relationships with coaches, professors, artists and peers. In every class, football game and musical performance I was an important member of a team, whether serving as an individual or as a leader. I’ve brought that diligence to the workplace where I’ve been a member of a product development team in a healthcare billing company. Using my skills developed through the lean six sigma green belt course and certification, I was given the responsibility of reviewing thousands of patient accounts, and accurately processing over a million dollars in refunds. In each of the bi-weekly product development meetings, I was encouraged to provide product and workflow feedback. By incorporating my input, the worflow was refined to shave minutes off each account review, saving many thousands of hours for future staff. I look forward to bringing my classroom, athletic, musical and work experiences to the next phase of my life as a member of a dynamic team in a fast-paced business environment.
