Project Engineer and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Coordinator at Next Generation Construction in Cleveland, Ohio. I support institutional and commercial projects across the full project lifecycle, from estimating and preconstruction planning to turnover and closeout. My role blends digital coordination, field-focused problem solving, and front-end project communication. I develop narratives and graphics for RFQs, RFPs, and client presentations, and help position our teams during competitive pursuits. I also maintain ongoing client relationships and assist with thorough scope writing, pricing strategies, and interview materials.Much of my work centers on the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where I produce 3D and planar phasing plans, coordinate design intent with field conditions, manage bids, and support documentation workflows that keep my projects timely, safe, and code-compliant. I contribute directly to complex renovations in ICUs, MICUs, MRI and X-ray suites, birthing centers, and other sensitive clinical environments that demand precise coordination across disciplines. I also support renovations for the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and IHG Hotels, including both field coordination and project administration.As part of Next Generation’s broader operations, I am the standardizer of digital workflows and optimizer of daily procedures. I bridge estimating, scheduling, field engineering, document control, and graphic design, ensuring our teams have clear and consistent information during every phase of a project. I am originally from Youngstown, Ohio, and I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Construction Management and Architectural Studies through the Kent State University Honors College. During my freshman and sophomore years, I competed as an NCAA Division I track and field and cross-country athlete. Entering my junior year, I left the team to join Next Generation Construction as a co-op.Throughout my junior and senior years, I balanced a double major with my work schedule, attending classes two days per week and working three days per week, while contributing consistently to billable project work for four consecutive semesters and breaks.
