About Andrew Black

As a seasoned leader with expertise in real estate acquisitions and financing, I began my 20-year real estate investing career negotiating bank forbearance and short sales. Over time, that passion for helping disadvantaged homeowners grew into a thriving real estate redevelopment business. After several years of supporting a growing company while working a full-time job, I decided to retire from a successful engineering career to lead Aecom Investments. Even after several hundred real estate transactions, we still maintain a passion for improving the communities that we serve. To date, Aecom Investments has expanded operations into four emerging markets throughout the midwest and southern regions. And we are strategically focused on real estate acquisitions, with an emphasis on commercial real estate syndications. As founder and principal, I bear the pleasure of working alongside some of the industry's best and brightest. Our distributed network of real estate professionals consists of investors, brokers, agents, inspectors, contractors and property managers. We are intrinsically biased towards collaboration and welcome the opportunity to partner with other like-minded professionals.
