About Andrew Boardman

I'm currently a Mechanical engineering student at Umass Dartmouth, where I'm learning the fundamentals about being a Mechanical engineer through my science and math classes. I also have 4 years of experience as a machinist from my vocational school Diman regional, and had a co-op job at custom mold for almost 2 years. I also do 3d printing and prop making on the side as a hobby but I have plans to make it a small side business if my schedule allow it. I want to become a Mechanical engineer because I have always wanted to create physical things that could help change the world for the better, like what Elon Musk is doing since he is one of my idols. one of my favorite fields for study in Mechanical Engineering is in prosthetics since it is a good way to help people with real world problems directly. I have plans to obtain an internship during the summer to gain more experience in my major and interests.
