About Andrew Bolton

I am a farmer building a permaculture farm that will produce vegetables, fruit, and livestock. After many years working as a foreman on construction sites, I am excited to be using my skills in carpentry, project management, and long hours working outdoors to expand our family farm into a sustainable, viable business. I have 100 acres of beautiful farmland that already has a variety of fruit trees and plants growing naturally. I believe in sustainable farming because my family deserves the highest quality food without having to worry about pesticides or genetically modified produce or meat. I also believe if you take care of the land, it will take care of you. Our family farm is committed to following the tenants of permaculture to ensure sustainability and to protect our land and livestock. I love working with my own two hands and knowing where my food is coming from, and I’m interested in networking with people who believe the same. I also would like to connect with experienced farmers who have knowledge they would like to share. Farming is a learning experience but a fun and worthy one that I’m committed to. Here are some goals I’ve accomplished so far: • Getting up before the sun and building the fencing for our farm. • Our barn will be complete by the end of April 2021. • Created our farm’s 5-year plan. The Bolton Family Farm’s 5-year plan: • Be maintaining several orchards. • Breeding cows and pigs for selling livestock. • Variety of fruit and vegetable crops to sell at local farmers markets and for local delivery. The Bolton Family is a loving family of six who enjoy working and playing together. When I’m not farming, I’m going on adventures with my wife of 12 years and 4 children. I’m learning something new every day and if you have something to share please send me a message and connect with me today.
