As the President of Everest Laboratories, Inc, I am focused on creating a highly positive company culture that carries over into the services we provide. Over the last few years, I have taken many different ideas and developed them into what Everest Laboratories, Inc. is today. I have been intrigued by drug testing ever since the first time I was tested while applying for a job at a grocery store. There was so much mystery around the drug test and what it meant. I had never even thought about taking illegal drugs, but for some reason was nervous that I’d come up positive. There were questions I had: What were they testing for? How long before they got my results? Would they contact me with my results? Since then I have had quite a few drug tests and have a much better understanding of how they work. Knowing what I do now, the grocery store was screening prospective employees to protect their investment in human capital. An employee who was clean would more than likely have better habits and be more reliable than one who had bad habits. With a Clinical Laboratory Sciences degree, ASCP Certification and an extensive background in laboratory medicine, I have developed a passion for laboratory testing and helping people. By funneling this passion into Everest Laboratories every day I am able to not only help individuals but also schools and companies.
