Since I graduated from Valparaiso University in 2004 I have worked at ESPN as a Production Assistant for their studio shows like SportsCenter and ESPNEWS. My duties there ranged from cutting hilites, sound and video for all studio shows to cutting a couple features and traveling with the ESPN golf shows like SportsCenter at the U.S. Open, Players Championship and The Masters. From July 2006 to January 2011 I was an Associate Producer with the Golf Channel in Orlando Florida. My duties ranged from cutting hilites, sound and other video for Golf Central Pre Game and Post Game shows to researching and executing all graphics for Golf Central and Live From Shows. In addition those duties I also was a Field Producer at PGA TOUR Events and major championships. Finally, I produced Golf Central shows from time to time. In February 2011 I was promoted to Producer with the Golf Channel. My main duty will be to produce Golf Central Pre Game and Post Game but will also continue with similar duties as when I was an Associate Producer with the same company. In 2014 I transitioned from producing studio shows to being the main Field Producer at PGA TOUR events. While working 25-28 events a year my duties include the gathering of all content for our news shows and coordinating feeding it back to Orlando. Content includes hilites (shared with broadcast as well), interviews, b roll and working with our reporters on their reports. I manage a crew of two cameramen, a reporter and, at times, an uplink engineer on a week to week basis. In this role I also work closely with our Player Relations team to help secure guests and interviews for our shows while on site. In January 2020 I was promoted to Senior Producer for my work as a Field Producer.
