Appointed by affiliate CEO as Competent Person Lifting Operations (CPLO); I am the dedicated Technical Authority for all lifting and mechanical handling operations in the county for Total EP. As Technical Authority for all lifting operations, I cover a broad operational perimeter that encompasses Total's offshore field (TABK), Total's Unconventional Gas sites (TUGs) and also Total’s forward logistics base (MOSB). I am responsible for all mechanical handling operations on Total sites and I am the primary point of contact for all Entity VP’s, RSES/OIM's, Project Managers, Department Superintendents and personnel on Lifting Standards and Industry Best Practice. Other duties include creating, implementing and auditing Total's ABK & TUG's Lifting Management Systems, conducting pre-acceptance inspections of field lifting support such as DSV's / Jack-up barges / Cranes ect, liaising with engineering departments at project development stage, directly supervising complex/critical lifts, operational support for FFSD's and also planning and delivering coaching to all mechanical handling teams. I am person responsible for regional reporting to headquarters on lifting related operations. HSE supervisor duties include. Designated as Total's Logistics Base HSE supervisor, I ensure that all personnel working on site adhere to the company HSE policy at all times. Other reasonability’s include, investigating and closure of incident reports and preparing and submitting lessons learned to the Base Superintendent for presentation to senior management. Ensuring all anomalies, incidents, and Root Cause Analysis preventive measures are thoroughly implemented at the site. RSES-D duties include. I am also appointed RSES-D (Responsible for Safety & Environment on Site) for Total’s forward logistics base MOSB.
