About Andrew Bryan

I am the Nurse Supervisor for Ambulatory Cardiology at Park Nicollet, where I have been since 2018. As a RN, I work with patients who have pacemakers and ICDs in the Cardiac Device Clinic. As a supervisor, I presently have 38 direct reports and have twice served as the interim manager for the clinic. In my current role, I create and maintain staffing schedules, create and update standing orders/policies/work standards, keep patient procedure education and staff continuing education offerings up to date, manage daily clinic workflows, keep staff engaged in work and outcomes, and am department's liaison to organization's Nurse Practice Committee and Nurse Education Committee. In addition, I also collaborate with Prior Authorization team on denials, use best practices and process improvement methods to improve workflows within clinic teams, and utilize outside resources as needed to accomplish our mission. For the past four years, I have scored "exceeds expectations" on my performance reviews and my team's all employee surveys from the past couple of years further back up my effectiveness as a leader. I have been with HealthPartners since October 2001 but am considering leaving patient care and leveraging my supervisor/management experience in pivoting to my next chapter. I currently live in Plymouth, MN with two kids and three dogs.
