About Andrew Bryson

Andrew is currently the Deputy Principal - Staff and Learning Operations at Thomas Carr College. Previous to this, he was the Assistant Principal (Learning) at Marcellin College, Bulleen. He has also worked at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College holding a number of key leadership positions within learning and teaching as well as student wellbeing. Andrew has taught Health and Physical Education across all year levels from Prep to Year 12 including VET Sport and Recreation. Drawing on his extensive teaching and leadership experience within education, in 2019, Andrew worked as an educational consultant supporting schools and school leaders in the areas of school improvement, leading learning and teaching as well as developing professional learning programs to build the capacity of middle leaders and teachers. Andrew has a strong passion for education, sport and overall health and fitness. He is an Accredited Level 2 AFL Coach with over 20 years’ experience playing and coaching sport from junior to representative level. In 2010 Andrew completed the Master of School Leadership (University of Melbourne) and recently completed several units of the Master of Educational Leadership (Leading Learning) at Australian Catholic University (ACU). He is currently completing the Graduate Certificate in Catholic Studies at ACU.
