About Andrew Cain

I have experience in managing positions within the workforce, including off-setting positions for different trades and positions, fulltime and part time workforce within departments in the Australian Army. This includes conducting annual reviews of all positions within the department and future planning of positions. Of note, in previous positions I have also conducted investigations and quick assessments of grievances, misconduct, performance and incidents. While holding positions in Afghanistan, I was required to develop and maintain relationships for the benefit of Australian Service Personnel, with other NATO forces and support organisations. My experiences working in the Australian Army both at home and overseas has enabled me to develop a number of personal and business relationships during this time. I enjoy engaging with all stakeholders on different levels. Whilst employed in all my previous careers I have developed excellent interpersonal communication skills and an excellent ability to handle challenging, stressful situations and difficult people. I have the necessary qualifications to conduct this role. I am adept at leading a team and working as part of a team, I am also an enthusiastic self-starter with lots of initiative and loads of drive.
