About Andrew Campbell

As I was growing up, I was fascinated by the work of Jacques Cousteau. The images of living and working underwater opened up a world of ideas to me, not the least of which was how to care for and farm the sea. I had my first job on a salmon farm during the university summer break in the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand in 1986, and I loved it. I then spent a year working on a farm in Tofino, British Columbia, before returning to New Zealand to spend 13 years growing the King Salmon. In my wife and I, with our 2 small children, moved to Chile to join AKVA group, where I started the exciting journey of supporting the industry as a technology supplier.I have since been privileged to work on many different aquaculture projects and in many different countries, including Chile, Scotland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Norway.
