About Andrew Caprio

Andrew is the Executive Director and Founder of NG Family Savings & Insurance and NG Employee Benefits Savings & Insurance (NG Companies) where he provides benefits, savings and insurance advice and services to individuals and families as well as companies and their employees. Andrew started his working career as a hospital corpsman with the United States Navy and later went on to earn his Master’s degree in healthcare administration. Andrew is a 30 year veteran of the healthcare industry and is the recipient of numerous National and State awards. In 2011 Andrew received the U.S. Small Business Administration’s - Utah Small Business person of the Year award and in 2014 the medical company he founded was named the National SCORE Awards - Outstanding Veteran Owned Small Business recipient. After finishing his career in healthcare, Andrew passed the Series 65 exam (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination), and now provides savings and financial planning advice to clients. Andrew holds his life and health insurance licenses for multiple states and is appointed with some of the oldest, largest and most financially stable institutions in the nation. Andrew works with the goal of clearly understanding each client's specific situation and circumstance; and then, works to define their goals and objectives. Once these are agreed upon, recommendations are offered and a determination to pass or move forward on each recommendation is made. “Whether working with individuals, families or companies I want to help people and organizations with some of the biggest challenges they face; specifically, how to safely and effectively plan and save for the future." Andrew graduated with his B.A. degree from North Central College in Naperville, IL and went on to earn his master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Andrew and his wife Sue have lived in Lehi, Utah for the last 19 years where they raised their four children and continue to serve in their church and community. His desire to share his knowledge has driven him to write and develop a number of books and presentations on topics such as individual and family savings plans, leading-edge employee benefit programs as well as smarter ways to plan for and transfer wealth. Books and presentations also include strategies on how to capture upside market potential without having to put savings at risk and the importance of minimizing and/or eliminating the taxation of current and future savings.
