About Andrew Chadd

I am a highly motivated Construction Director currently working on various projects across the West Midlands, South West and Wales. I enjoy working under pressure, whilst striving to achieve the highest standards. I started in the industry as a construction labourer, working through an apprenticeship to become a Carpenter and Joiner. I have worked on a wide variety of projects within the industry at all levels, including restoration, renovation, barn conversions, new build housing, new build apartments, within social housing and open market sales. I ran my own company for several years carrying out extensions, new builds, conversions, restorations and bespoke joinery from my workshops. I was solely responsible for the management of all projects, health and safety, administration, finances and employees payroll. At Harper Group, I have progressed from my initial role as a working foreman, to my current role as the Construction Director, implementing my skills to help the Harper Group deliver volume at the highest quality, always trying to maintain standards whilst working to tight deadlines. I have been managing projects up to £10m as a contracts manager, overseeing the Design, Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, liaising with clients and their representatives, as well as the consultants. I am actively still Contracts Managing, whilst assisting the Construction process of a variety projects.
