About Andrew Chele

I have always liked the idea of sitting at the helm of a consortium of companies. I believe the first step to achieving this dream is learning how to manage money. By mastering that crucial skill, I will be able to confidently invest in my entrepreneurial passion through agriculture and food among others to bring to fruition an empire that will last generations. My passions have in the past have led me to attempt to start my own small businesses from selling handmade items in primary school and making and selling baked goods after high school. These past attempts have shown me that I need to learn from industry experts who have seen it all. I have been through an accounting internship at Homes Kenya Limited, a real estate company, where I got the real-world experience of finance and accounting. My time there gave me insight into various accounting and finance activities such as invoicing, billing and analysis of bank statements. Earlier on, I served as an intern at Kenya Red Cross society where my role was more towards giving back to the community. I participated in a tree nursery initiative but also got the chance to exercise my educational background by participating in preparation for an audit. After my tenure as an intern ended, I came back as a volunteer where I have been serving to date whenever I get the chance. I believe that my passions combined with my volunteer experience and the insights gained from my internships make me a viable candidate for anyone looking to grow their company and ensure its success.
