About Andrew Ciglic

I had always been fascinated with electronics, robotics & microprocessors which is why I thought the Electrical Engineering Technologist program at Georgian College would be a perfect fit for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Georgian, and my three co-ops working alongside an Electrician, participating in electronic board manufacturing and even being a part of an Engineering team. My co-op experiences were vastly different from one another, which allowed me to try out a few things and see which I enjoyed the most. I learned that I like working with my hands as well in office settings and participating in teamwork to see a project to its completion. I have taken what I enjoyed most about those positions and have found myself in a role that I am currently very happy with and excelling at. Currently, I am working within the Traffic industry as a Technical Sales Representative with GGI Road & Traffic. I enjoy this position as I get to work very closely with Municipalities, Townships and Regions to supply and commission advanced traffic detection technology which I find very interesting. I am incredibly thankful that I have a job I look forward to each day, and I look forward to continuing my career in this field.
