About Andrew Costa

Software engineer with more than 3 years of experience in web development, specialized in chatbots and e-commerce solutions. Graduated in Software Engineering and student of Distributed Software Architecture at Puc Minas, I have more than 3 years of experience in web development. I currently work at Blip, where I work with the construction of chatbots and APIs Rest in.Net. One of the projects that I participated in was Smart Sales, an e-commerce solution that facilitated the sale of products integrated to the Blip platform. In the Smart Sales project, I used the following technologies.Net to build APIs Rest -Entity Framework for data access -Redis and SQL for product storage and management -ReactJS for the front-end development of the application, which used React, Redux Toolkit, Jest and React Testing Library for automated tests. One of the challenges of this project was the optimization of the state of the application, when displaying a list of products by infinite scrolling. I optimized the state management of the application, to avoid unnecessary renderings, so that the user actions and animations were fluid regardless of the number of products displayed. This led to reducing the waiting time of the user in the interactions of the application that took more than 3 to 5 seconds, to an instant response, besides keeping the animations of the application close to 60 FPS. I am a person who likes to solve complex and challenging problems, using my knowledge and seeking new skills and experiences. In addition, I like to work in teams engaged in innovating and optimizing web solutions.
