About Andrew Csanyi

I have been working professionally with electronics since graduating in 2004. I have gained lots of valuable hands-on experience by building, troubleshooting, maintaining and updating the products in my charge. I enjoy working in technical industries because it exposes me to many interesting things that I otherwise wouldn't know or learn about. From 2004 to 2008 I worked at Sonavox, an OEM manufacturer that produced audio amplifiers for the prosumer and professional markets. I was in charge of taking customers' specifications and designing the control electronics to meet those requirements. From 2008 to present, I have been working at Optech Incorporated, a manufacturer of laser-based products for the surveying and imaging market. I am the primary technical authority of one of the company's flagship terrestrial products, and am in charge of maintaining and upgrading it. Specialties: I am extremely knowledgeable and proficient with both computer hardware and software, including software development. I enjoy and excel at both learning and teaching technically-oriented subjects. I have a strong propensity for developing friendly, aesthetically-pleasing and efficient graphical user interfaces.
