About Andrew Cullen

AI specialist working on problems relating to security, privacy, and performance for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Passionate about building systems that are reliable, secure, and fair for all users. As a researcher, my interests span AI security, adversarial machine learning, high performance computing, graph neural networks, game-theory, computational physics, and computational fluid dynamics. As part of my work, I have been involved in rapidly taking tools and systems to production, in order to make quantifiable changes to business practices, while working directly with C-Suite executives and both technical and non-technical staff. These skills have allowed me to develop significant expertise in parallel computing (including multi-node, multi-GPU machine learning). I hold a an Aerospace Engineering degree and a PhD from Monash University, in which I focused upon Applied Mathematics and Fluid Dynamics. Before that, I was a professional (and profitable) gambler, with a focus upon developing value through modelling outcomes in a sporting context.
