About Andrew Dane

I started my internship career with Lassus my senior year of high school and continued to work with them throughout that summer as well. There I conducted customer service evaluations on employees and looked over applications. I also did a few phone screenings and interviews. I also spent the next summer with them as well doing accounting and payroll duties. After my time with Lassus moved into an HR intern role with STAR Financial. During this time I was responsible for all the recruiting activities for our Customer Solutions team. I conducted interviews and reviewed background checks for those candidates. I also worked with our payroll team and got to do that process as well. The best part was the summer long project when I made the argument on why we should focus on retention more and not so much recruiting.
