About Andrew Davidson

I am an ACEM Advanced Trainee in Emergency Medicine with experience in tertiary burns care, anaesthetics and adult/paediatric critical care medicine. My sub-specialty interest is PHARM (Pre-Hospital and Retrieval Medicine). I have experience in both adult and paediatric primary and secondary retrieval care through my time at the Children’s Health Queensland Retrieval Service and Lifeflight Retrieval medicine based in Brisbane. I have broad experience of adult and paediatric emergency medicine having worked across several facilities both district/general and major/tertiary referral centres. I am a member of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Aeromedical Society of Australasia and the Air Transport Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians. I am studying towards a Masters in Aeromedical Retrieval at James Cook University. Other professional memberships include- The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine - The American College of Emergency Physicians - The Emergency Medicine Society of South Africa. Before moving to Australia I was employed as a doctor by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
