About Andrew Dillon

As a Shareholder at Nathan Sommers Jacobs, I advise leading regional and national real estate firms and financial institutions on real estate, finance, and corporate matters. I provide companies with day-to-day legal counsel while strategically mitigating short and long-term business risks, whether representing a real estate developer in a property acquisition, a national lender in a credit facility, or an executive leadership team in business organization and governance matters. Competitive by nature, I am meticulous in my approach to each transaction. When I’ve done my job right, my clients’ business risks are so limited that I don’t expect the possibility of future litigation. After graduating summa cum laude from Duke University, I earned my J.D. from Pennsylvania School of Law. I began my career as a corporate securities attorney on Wall Street before joining Nathan Sommers Jacobs, where I serve as a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. I serve as a Food Allergy Program Advisory Board Member of Texas Children’s Hospital, where my wife and I co-founded “Cooking Up A Cure,” an annual event which helps fund the research and initiatives of the Food Allergy Program. I also actively serve as a member of the Duke University Alumni Association Board of Directors, and locally as the nominating committee chair of the Houston Duke Alumni Association and chair of the Duke Houston Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee.
