About Andrew Dixon

I started my photographic journey during the summer of 2013 when I attended a week of a Digital Media Program at Camp Woodward which is located in Woodward, PA and I instantly fell in love with being behind a camera and creating images for others to enjoy.I grew up racing motocross, so I was always exposed to the action sports world; whether it was Skateboarding, BMX, Motocross, etc. So, when I picked up a camera it was almost inevitable that I would fall in love with shooting action sports, but more importantly, I focused a majority of my attention on BMX. I found such a fascination in the community that surrounded such a niche group. More recently I have found an interest in architectural abstractions that can be created by capturing simplistic or intricate forms that surround us in our everyday lives.I am currently enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and I am earning my B.F.A in Commercial Photography, and I am also minoring in Graphic Design. I have been attending Camp Woodward East as a Digital Photography student since 2013, and in 2017 I rose to the position of Digital Media Intern; helping teach a new generation of students in the way that others had taught me.
