About Andrew Douglas

I am an aggressive, hard working and adaptable person with experience in managing both people and multiple customer accounts. My past experiences have helped me become extremely self sufficient and able to handle any high pressure situations, adapting sudden and unforeseen changes, self sufficient and managing both people and/or logistical aspects in most any situation. I have spent 12 total years as a professional aircraft-rescue and structural firefighter both for military aircraft flight lines and now a major city. Having gone from a entry level fireman up to a crew/chief and acting station captain both base side and overseas I learned a great deal of skills. Working for PepsiCo the added to my knowledge of the private sector and allowed me to adapt my skills from military to a civilian level approach. I am preparing to begin the final phase in finishing my bachelors degree in business management sometime in the near future, however; I strongly believe the best leaders are those who have held lower ranks and realize the challenges first hand. Anyone is able to shout commands from the back but regardless of the job, a true leader and manager should stand in front and lead by example. I am currently seeking possible mid level sales and management positions for long term growth and advancement which possess the challenge, compensation and sustainability to make a transfer from government to private sector.
