Andrew is currently studying for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Born & raised in Bellerose, Queens, Andrew brings a unique blend of cultural richness and artistic background to the world of project management. Raised in a "mixed household" with a Hindu-Guyanese immigrant mother and a third-generation New Yorker father, his diverse upbringing has instilled a nuanced perspective that enhances his approach to projects. Andrew's journey began in NYC Public Schools, where he cultivated a passion for creativity and collaboration. His experiences with Arts Education organizations like Dancing Classrooms and Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation laid the groundwork for his commitment to structured and organized processes. Continuing his education at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Andrew thrived in the Vocal Studio and the Musical Theater Company. This formative period not only honed his artistic skills but also instilled discipline and teamwork—essential qualities in successful project management. Furthering his studies at NYU Tisch, Andrew earned a BFA in Drama and delved into the Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology. This dual focus equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and logistical aspects of the industry—an invaluable asset in project management. Post-graduation, Andrew’s role as an actor with the Classical Theater of Harlem and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival not only showcased his artistic prowess but also highlighted his ability to thrive in collaborative, deadline-driven environments. Currently, Andrew applies his diverse skill set at Pathways College Preparatory School, where he teaches Musical Theater. In this capacity, he not only imparts artistic knowledge but also integrates organizational and project management principles into his teaching approach. Andrew's multifaceted background, coupled with his experience in both the arts and academia, positions him as a dynamic and resourceful asset in the field of project management.
