About Andrew Flitton

After a 30 year career in the action sports industry, and a few reassessment years, I've returned to a role, and company that excites me, and brings personal fulfillment. As XTM Performance CEO I've had the opportunity to draw on past experiences to be a better leader and to make better decisions. At 59 years of age I've been to the university of life. Through learning's from previous success and failure, and the luxury of 7 years to reflect and reset my personal and professional priorities, I've returned to an industry I love. After entering the surf industry at 20 years of age through Rip Curl retail in Torquay, to Rip Curl sales rep, new brand Beach Crew, old brand Hang Ten, commission sales agent, and 22 years at great brand Billabong, I've experienced a broad exposure to all aspects of the apparel and accessory business. Having a life long passion for surfing and the surf industry, making the switch to a new snow and outdoor industry is refreshing. It's something that has reignited my desire for brand development, company management and personal growth. Outside of work I'm involved in the Torquay Boardriders Club as Life Member representative on the management committee, the 50 Year Storm in Memory of Shaun Brooks, a big wave event raising awareness around mental health, and the Torquay Marine Rescue, a volunteer organisation saving lives at sea and also my love of music with the Jarosite Band, a folk rock five piece with multiple album releases. Through incredible efforts, XTM Performance has become a leading player in the Australian snow and outdoor industry. A carbon neutral company since 2008 with strong ESG protocols. I'm motivated by the opportunity to create a collective of like minded people to Do Good. Be Free and Have Fun. This is XTM's vision and something we live by everyday, and it's working for us! After 20 years of strengthening the brand core, XTM Performance are now confident to expand outside of Australia into the major markets of the USA and Europe. A rewarding journey for myself personally and the amazing team I'm blessed to work with everyday.
