I am currently working at Thomas Jefferson University as a Medical Physics Resident. I previously served as a research medical physicist at the Division of Translational Radiation Sciences (DTRS) at the University of Maryland Baltimore. In this position, I essentially fulfilled the many duties of a clinical medical physicist but in a radiation biology environment. I performed monthly QA on a clinical linear accelerator, oversaw an in-vivo OSLD QA program for large animal irradiations, and performed daily, weekly and annual QA on three kV biological irradiators. I carried out treatment planning using the MuriPlan treatment planning system (TPS) for small animal irradiations and Eclipse TPS for large animal irradiations. In addition to these, I was responsible for and had been independently performing monthly QA on a Varian Truebeam.
