About Andrew Goodwin

Data analyst with a background in chemistry and molecular biology with skills in Excel, Python, Pandas, SQL and various data base/visualizations tools garnered from a certificate in Data Science and Visualization from Northwestern University. Always analyzing situations for inefficiencies with a keen eye for identifying problems and critical thinking skills to solve them. Excited about the opportunity to utilize my knowledge in science, whether directly or indirectly, moving towards a career in data science. Recently completed a project utilizing Python, Pandas, APIs, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML, among others, to create an interactive website hosted on GitHub Pages. This application organizes, stores, analyzes, and visualizes game data generated from a weekly video game tournament. General strengths include problem solving, collaboration, organization, and attention to detail, which combined with the aforementioned skillset, makes me a valuable addition to any team.
