About Andrew Graystone

I’m a cybersecurity specialist with a strong foundation in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), currently serving as the Controls and Cybersecurity Specialist at Anthem Properties. I’m passionate about building secure, resilient systems that align with business objectives and enable sustainable growth. As an ISC2 Associate (CISSP exam passed), I bring a risk-based approach to cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in access control, incident response, third-party risk, endpoint security, and awareness training. I also lead initiatives in security governance and policy development, bridging the gap between technical controls and organizational strategy. I hold a Computer Information Technology Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where I graduated at the top of my class and was awarded the Microserve Scholarship for academic excellence. I’m continuously growing toward a long-term goal of becoming a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), with a focus on empowering people, securing operations, and driving business value through cybersecurity. Outside of work, I’m an avid tabletop gaming and 3D printing enthusiast and miniature painter, finding creativity and strategy in both the digital and analog worlds.
