About Andrew Gutierrez

Andrew Gutierrez just finished the required courses to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. His exemplary work as a student and team member gives credit to his creative ability and dedicated efforts. Gutierrez began working at United Parcel Service (UPS) in November 2017. In May 2018, while working at the Grande Vista location in Vernon, Gutierrez was awarded Supervisor of the Month for his exemplary performance. He has spent the last six years cultivating his interpersonal communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills as a Front Line Supervisor. Before starting his educational journey or UPS career, Gutierrez served in the United States Army as an Infantryman in the 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment. Gutierrez acquired four Army Achievement Medals for his outstanding performance and dedication in training missions during his service. Gutierrez completed a total of twenty airborne jumps from various aircraft. This experience has allowed him to obtain many skills, including working under pressure, thinking creatively, building and leading small teams, interpersonal communication, and multitasking.
