About Andrew Hunt

Enthusiatic advocate for using technology to make business smarter. Core belief "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should'. But if it makes the business smarter, more productive and drives profitable growth, then these are the criteria to progress IT projects. My experience building and running my own business gives me a unique perspective on the pressures of small-medium business (SME). It's a vital part of the economy and one that I feel a strong affinity for. SME's are the people who take risks, work long hours, and put their futures on the line everyday as they back themselves to build successful businesses, makes jobs and drive the economy forward. It means that I also take an active interest in the environment in which business operates, getting involved in advocacy to help improve the opportunity for businesses.I've now grown through my own business and recruited professional management, and I'm looking for a couple of governance positions.
