I have been involved in animal fields for almost 20 years, either professionally or in schooling. I have a B.S. in Biology, an M.S. in Conservation Genetics, plus spent almost three years at Oregon State University's Veterinary School before ultimately leaving the program. I also have over eight years experience as a certified veterinary technician, but felt that the drawbacks of veterinary work were not something I wanted to continue experiencing for the rest of my life so began pursuing an animal career with a little more positivity to it. Which has led me to dog daycare. I worked at a very busy daycare in downtown Seattle and my time there confirmed my desire to work in the dog hospitality industry. I am currently in the planning stage of starting my business, Diamond Dogs Daycare and Resort in Ocean Shores, WA, opening February 2015.
