About Andrew James Gray

Executive Leadership Coach (PCC) and People and Culture professional with 15 years in roles focused on elevating human potential and the employee experience. I was a Senior Manager in the Ontario Government’s Ministry of Education, where I led a team responsible for a large and diverse portfolio of people and culture programming, including: recognition and rewards, employee engagement, accessibility, change management, diversity and inclusion and fundraising. I was also a Manager in the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services where I honed my leadership skills and expertise in the area of organizational effectiveness, having accomplished the development and implementation of an Organizational Health and Effectiveness Strategy impacting over employees.Unique to me is also my experience having worked at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) in Ottawa as an Intelligence Officer. There, I gained high-levels of emotional and observational intelligence in addition to expert analytical and research skills.I can be described as leading teams to greatness through sound leadership competencies and motivational techniques. I enjoy working with organizations to help them retain healthy, skilled and inspired employees through the creation of people and culture programming. Having been a young leader myself that recognizes the challenges young leaders face, my coaching practice places an emphasis on supporting new managers that recently transitioned from an individual contributor role. I am trained in the Adler method of coaching through the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Adler Professional College in Toronto, Canada - an ICF accredited program. In my spare time, I'm volunteering my communications and leadership skills with organizations focused on supporting community arts, Alzheimer's disease and the LGBTQ2+ community.
