I combine finance and accounting expertise, strategic business and organizational administration, critical thinking, team leadership, and detail orientation. I have built businesses, underwritten business plans, negotiated financing, modernized legacy organizations, campaigned for and served in public office, and led executive teams towards strategic goals. My experience in commercial underwriting, real estate development and investment, and banking, combined with my education and understanding of finance, accounting, and business engineering, would be a mutually beneficial fit with an executive team succeeding in commercial banking, private equity, or real estate. I have earned three masters degrees in business administration, public administration, and financial engineering. I excelled in commercial finance and underwriting having analyzed hundreds of business models, financial plans, proformas, and real estate development projects. I dealt with market and environmental studies, risk assessments, compliance and regulations, and contracts to negotiate debt and equity financing, including modeling waterfall returns for conventional banks, investors, family offices, and private equity clients. I am expert at engineering financial models, negotiating terms, designing policies and processes, and leading teams to convert strategic plans into daily success. I was the elected Treasurer and CFO of Saratoga County, NY responsible for the county’s $400M budget encompassing 1,200 employees and serving a community of a residents. I managed a team of 20 direct staff across accounting, banking and investment, AR/AP, tax enforcement, payroll, and grant administration. I was elected President of the NYS County Treasurers Association where I successfully advocated for changes to the state budget and public finance laws. I am currently the Chief Financial Officer of Richland Country Club in Nashville spearheading the Club's fiscal policy, and managing the processes, systems, and personnel across multiple operational functions. I have utilized my experience and unique set of abilities to revamp several internal processes and systems, write fiscal policy, reengineer the budget process, and implement savings of over six figures in annual operating costs. In 2024, my wife and I moved our two school-aged kids out of upstate New York and to the city in which I was born, Nashville. We have since established ourselves in the Williamson County community with our kids in a good school and settled into a routine surrounded by family values and similar work ethics.
