Proud to serve on the Board of Directors for The Propeller Club, Port of Norfolk. Virginia Maritime Association Maritime Leadership Certification Program graduate of the class of 2024. Collaborating with other maritime industry leaders while learning from each other's experiences and sharpening leadership skills in a yearlong course. An assistant operations manager with 5 Years of Warehouse experience working from the ground up, taking the time to understand the global supply chain. I plan to work for a few years and then go back for my MBA to further grow my education and leadership experience and I aspire to pursue the path to strategic management. Successfully launched a new account, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive training documentation for sorting and segregating floor-loaded containers, averaging 15 sorts per container. Built and trained a high-performing team during the customer’s peak season, ensuring operational readiness and seamlessly transitioned the account to another operations team after establishing a strong foundation and scalable processes. Project lead, directly working with upper management, operations, and IT to successfully change manifest systems while improving integration with the Warehouse Management System and the overall operation. Assisted in the daily labor planning, future activity forecasting, and development of rates through time and motion analysis; studies directly led to a rate increase of 12% for a major customer, improving revenue. Has experience directly with supervisors for public and third-party contract warehousing and distribution operations across Automotive, Electronics, Food, and Industrial business lines. Mentored four interns over the last three summers working with the university and peers to create a program that allows students the opportunity to explore transportation, brokerage, and warehousing operations over a ten-week span.
