About Andrew Klock

Greetings! I am an analytically and quantitatively minded scientist who loves data and am primarily interested in Python, data and statistical analysis, SQL database work and development and bioinformatics. I have a great love of using my skills to innovate and improve data pipelines and analytical methods. I especially thrive in an environment where I can write Python tools to help streamline processes and improve established procedures and I have a strong affinity for finding patterns and derivations in scientific data. I feel that my diverse background in everything from molecular biology to analytical chemistry to Python coding to relational database development helps me find novel ways to solve problems. I love trying new things and pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and expertise and I'm addicted to learning and advancing my skills. My goal is to continue working with and improving my SQL, Python and data and statistical analysis knowledge while adding in new skills, like machine learning. I strive to be in a position that challenges me daily, where I can come up with creative and novel solutions for complex analytical problems. I would love to challenge myself with a role focusing on high level data analytics that require sophisticated Python algorithms and statistics work. That, to me, would be a worthwhile task. Cheers!
