Serviced the rating agencies with annual and interim reviews. Managed, maintained and developed the strategic and tactical aspects of interest rate risk and FX management. Investigated and executed any tax advantaged funding/investment opportunities. Executed liability management deals, using a range of available mechanisms such as tenders or open market repurchases. Ensured that the implementation of TMS encompassed any front office requirements, supported Treasury accounting and improved back office understanding. Managed and negotiated with the 20+relationship banks to ensure the availability of £3bn of loans. Trustee and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the NG UK Pension Scheme. Conceived and executed the largest retail bond that won the ACT’s Bond and Deal of the Year in 2012.
