About Andrew Licht

My producing career has been split between Producer and Executive Producer roles. While each has its benefits and challenges, I seem to find myself drawn into the creative and technical sides of film making as much as I realize nothing gets to a wide audience without financial backing, oversight and accountability. As an educator and mentor to aspiring film makers, I try to instill in my students the importance of both the creative and business side, because awareness and fluency in each have proven invaluable in my own career and the ability to not only earn a living, but get creative projects completed and distributed to global audiences. Film making at its best not only entertains but inspires; and my hope is that inspiration leads to actions that create a more just and vibrant world for generations to come.
