About Andrew Lindstrom

My name is Andrew Lindstrom and I'm a policy wonk and public transportation head (shout out to trolleybuses). I'm currently doing data analysis and mapping for BERK Consulting in Seattle, and am always happy to talk shop about basically anything pertaining to urban planning, transportation, housing, or economics. Before starting this role, I studied urban and regional planning at Portland State where I also did policy worth with the Sightline Institute and eviction research with Evicted in Oregon. In my free time, I blog about urban planning and transportation at hang out with my cats, ride my bike, and do crosswords with my wife Olivia. Prior to getting into urban planning, I spent about five years doing financial related data analysis in a variety of industries - from loan servicing to food manufacturing to cellular networks. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Physics from Ohio State in 2018, where I also swam. If your curious, my career swimming highlight is swimming one heat after Katie Ledecky in the prelims of the 500 free at the 2017 Ohio State Winter Invite. I think she beat me by a good five seconds.
