About Andrew Lo

With 20 years of experience in the Federal Government, including 18 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and 2 years with the Public Health Agency of Canada, I bring a diverse work background and extensive experience that spans clinical, leadership, management, health informatics, and policy development. Education includes a Master of Health Informatics (MHI) at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), executive certificates in Healthcare Analytics and Machine Learning from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health from IHPME. Numerous coordination and management roles have assisted in the evolution of a uniquely skilled, astute, and effective leader who “gets the job done” by harnessing staff’s abilities, expertise, and motivation while looking after their well-being. A policy analyst, policy advisor, and coordinator with a clear understanding of strategy, solution architecture, and implementation.
