Hands-on, experienced HSE and Project Management professional with a proven track record of creating and implementing environmental and safety management systems. I offer a solid track record of improving service levels and reducing costs by establishing optimized safety strategies. Throughout my career, I’ve cultivated an in-depth knowledge of UK HSE regulations/ UK health and safety law, EU-OSHA, North American OSHA/ ANSI, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 systems. I value collaboration and cooperation and have built, mentored, and led high-performing teams that consistently exceed objectives. I have developed a reputation as a savvy communicator skilled in cultivating relationships with personnel, clients, core decision makers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. One of my career highlights includes leading a project to establish an ESOH department that leverages ISO 14001/ISO certification process methodology. For this project, I introduced, adapted, and maintained processes for risk assessment/mitigation, behavior-based safety, continuous improvement, operation safety management, and integrated management systems. I’ve also decreased accident and incident rates whilst increasing perception and awareness of risk companywide by implementing SOP and behavioral change programs for a large, multinational AECOM project. No stranger to the challenging environments and stressful situations in which I thrive, I earned the Commander British Forces Commendation for distinguished services; I received commendation from executive leadership for delivering exceptional leadership during operations in Afghanistan.
