Most importantly, you can check yourself before you wreck yourself. Driven by an insatiable desire to design and build, I thrive on confronting diverse and intricate problems. I’ve honed my product development chops by being hands-on with all facets of product development: research and requirements, user experience, industrial design, product engineering, and design for manufacturing and assembly. As the Director of Product at Cortex Design, I lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in the MedTech space aligned with our clients' business objectives. I help our teams navigate the complexities of large, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring coordination between industrial design, mechanical engineering, embedded systems, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing efforts. My expertise extends to managing product and project risk and ensuring products comply with medical device standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
