I am a rising junior with a strong interest in fiscal policy, lawmaking, economics, and finance. As a member of the debate team at Colgate, I’ve sharpened my analytical and public speaking skills by crafting arguments about numerous issues in today's society in various international tournaments. In addition to my experience on the debate team, I hold multiple leadership positions in student government, where I manage financial operations and oversee budgeting. I’m responsible for ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support student initiatives, which has taught me about financial planning and project management, and allowed me to make a direct impact on the community. I’m currently exploring career paths in public policy, finance, or law, where I can apply my critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork skills. I’m passionate about creating positive change in my community, and I’m committed to finding a career where I can make a meaningful impact on the people around me. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how leadership and strategic decision-making can shape the future, and I’m excited to continue growing both personally and professionally. I am also an avid golfer and currently serve as the President of the Colgate Club Golf team.
