Background

About Andrew Mander

After a career as an international HR generalist, both strategic and operational I have since 2014 been helping SMEs grow and bring focus to their people agendas. Particularly in building great places to work and strong employee engagement. I qualified as a Gallup Strengths Coach in 2018 and since then have been helping people in the UK, US, Mainland Europe and China become more aware of their talents and how to develop and use them. This has had tremendous impact on clients' personal effectiveness, well-being and engagement. My work has largely been within a business context where a focus on people engagement and development has generated significant and sustained sales and profit performance. My focus has increasingly shifted towards team effectiveness which lead me to undertaking programs to become a Systemic Team Coaching Practitioner through GTCI and a Team Diagnostic Survey Advanced Practitioner. Together these have enabled me to gain the European Mentoring and Coaching Council Team Coaching Practitioner Accreditation. My journey continued in 2021 with my appointment as an e2grow Certified High Performance Team Coach. For me this is the missing piece in achieving sustained improvements in team performance through behavioural change that sticks. It adds regular structured prompts and tasks to a program of team and individual development workshops based on Clifton Strengths and Q12.
