About Andrew Marec
Hi! My name is Andrew Marec and I'm currently studying vocal music education at Kent State University. I've known ever since I was young that I wanted to be a teacher, and I found my passion in music that lead me to coming here to Kent. To help further that goal and improve my professionalism, I took a job at Career Exploration and Development. The position of Career Peer here allows me to practice my leadership skills through presentations we give for classes on campus, and assisting student in improving their resumes and cover letters. This is my first time in a desk job position and it has been incredibly helpful in improving my professionalism and communication skills. My hope is that this job will help me create meaningful connections and put me in a confident place to work in a professional work environment!
