About Andrew Maynard

My name is Andrew Maynard. I am certified as an Engineer in Training. I graduated from the Cockrell School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. I was involved in many organizations while I was in school, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Chi Epsilon and Longhorn Pep Band. My most recent job was an internship at CP & Y Inc in their transportation department. There I learned how to apply what I have learned in school and how different the work life is from school life. Most importantly, I am a Catholic. My faith orients how I work and how I serve others. I aim to use my talents, skills and what I learn to serve others within the workplace and the community. I was involved in the University Catholic Center in organizations such as STRONG, which puts on retreats middle-schoolers and high-schoolers. I was the Historian from January-May 2017. I was also involved in Longhorn Awakening, which puts on semi-annual retreats for college students. I served as Speaker on one retreat, and was Fourth Day Staffhead for another retreat. I believe that I what I do inside and outside the office should serve others and bring joy to others.
