Working as a team leader/supervisor I have learnt how important it is to be able to take ownership of a situation and push myself to lead by example. As an individual I understand the value of team work I will work closely with others around me using my own expertise and qualities of those around me to assist in achieving the overall goal. Communication (Oral, Written and Presentation) Due to the nature of my employment, I have been trained to deal efficiently and effectively with even the most difficult time critical situations. I take pride in my communication skills and have only looked to further developed these in my employment and personal life. while working with Montgomery’s transport I had initially begun in the traffic department in a client advisory role. After my probationary period I applied and accepted the Lead Traffic Operator role. With this new role I was responsible to communicate with staff and clients primarily within the health care sector insuring delivery of blood works and other time critical medical works where dispatched. These had to be carried out to a out to a very high standard. Problem Solving/ Decision Making (Ability to Analyze and Investigate) I have the skills required to complete tasks and solve problems in a logical, decisive manner. These are skills I picked up during various previous employments. For example, as a Business Support Team Supervisor it was my responsibility effectively manage and allocate business support agents throughout a multi contract call center environment. Dealing directly with our clients representative and floor managers in two sites Belfast - Derry/Londonderry. It was my responsibility to maintain capacity and overflows within all supported campaigns.
